CREATING STUNNING HEADSHOTS AND PORTRAITS
I'm Glenn - a portrait and headshot photographer. Most of the people I photograph are actors and performers. I also work with dancers, singers, directors, writers, models, business clients, academics and anyone who needs a serious headshot or portrait of themselves to put out into the world.
Sessions begin with a conversation about what the photos are for - Spotlight, agent submissions, a rebrand, a programme, a reel. From there, we work through different looks, backdrops and lighting setups, reviewing the images together on the big screen as we go. I work mostly with studio lighting, a wide range of backdrops, and, on occasion, outdoor settings for natural-light work when the weather behaves.

THE POWER OF CONNECTION
A good headshot is mostly conversation. After many years of photographing people, I'm certain of one thing: the strongest images arrive once the camera stops being the thing you're thinking about. My job is to get you there quickly and comfortably.
We'll talk about wardrobe, about the people who'll see these images and what they need to see in them. We'll try things. We'll change things. If an image isn't working, we move on; if something unexpected lands, we follow it.
What you receive in the end is a set of images that look like you on a good day - sharp, considered, and useful for the job they're meant to do.

I have to say that this was the best photoshoot I have ever experienced and the finished product was proof of just that. I have many headshots over the years with many fabulous photographers and Glenn is no exception. I initially saw his work on Instagram and I was drawn in instantly! His artistry is something else. Whilst beautifully unique his work absolutely folds in to the specific headshot world. The shoot was relaxed and didn’t feel pressured to rush or “get the shot” whilst being able to see the photos come through on a big computer screen which I feel is a great and essential asset. Huge amounts of options of back drops especially when having different outfits. One unique feature is not only is it a lovely session with an incredible outcome but you get to meet the family alpacas too!
